At the school they installed a flat screen television in the canteen/cafeteria two weeks ago. It is always turned to Turkish MTV which plays a combination of American, British, and Turkish hits. I saw this video for the first time today by Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles, and fell in love with it. It covers the decades that I have lived through thus far. It creatively shows icons of revolution and change politically, socially, and culturally in the last four decades. This links it to now as well since this week we have seen a revolution.
